A Tradition That Endures: Creative Travel’s Annual Chaat Party 2026

February 12, 2026

Some gatherings transcend the idea of an event. They become markers of time, memory, and shared purpose. Creative Travel’s annual Chaat Party is one such moment, an institution quietly woven into the fabric of the travel industry.

Held this year across two sunlit winter days on 6th and 8th February 2026, the Chaat Party once again opened its doors at the Kohli residence, offering a welcome pause from Delhi-NCR’s coldest spell. The warmth, however, extended far beyond the weather. Over plates of meticulously prepared chaat and unhurried conversations, the industry came together not just to celebrate, but to reconnect.

What began decades ago as a simple gesture has grown into a defining ritual. Instituted by Creative Travel’s founder, Ram Kohli, the gathering reflects the values on which the company was built: hospitality without pretense, relationships over transactions, and continuity over spectacle. Over the years, this tradition has been carefully preserved by the Creative family, carrying forward both its spirit and its significance.

Now spanning more than three and a half decades, it remains a rare constant in a business that is otherwise always evolving.

Today, with over 500 industry partners in attendance, the gathering has become one of the most anticipated fixtures on the tourism calendar. Its scale is impressive, but its essence remains unchanged. The Chaat Party is not about announcements or agendas. It is about gratitude, continuity, and the quiet strength of long-standing partnerships.

At its heart, the event is a thank-you, extended not through speeches but through presence. It reflects Creative Travel’s belief that the industry grows strongest when relationships are nurtured with sincerity, and that the India story is best told through collaboration, pride, and mutual respect.

In an era of rapid change, Creative Travel’s Chaat Party endures as a reminder that some traditions are worth holding onto, not because they are old, but because they still matter.
