August 18, 2025

Air India Express is expanding its domestic network by adding three new destinations: Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun. Services to Ahmedabad and Chandigarh will begin on September 1, 2025, followed by flights to Dehradun starting September 15, 2025. All routes will connect these cities with the airline’s key Bengaluru hub.

The airline will operate twice-daily flights between Ahmedabad and Bengaluru, as well as Chandigarh and Bengaluru, while offering daily flights from Dehradun to Bengaluru. Introductory one-way fares start at Rs 4,100 and tickets are available through Air India Express’s website, mobile app, and other booking platforms.

With a fleet size of over 115 aircraft, including Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s, Air India Express now covers 41 domestic and 17 international destinations. The airline emphasizes a warm and reliable flying experience, featuring hot meals, comfortable seating, and customizable fare options.

Air India Express’s expansion aims to connect vibrant urban centers like Ahmedabad and Chandigarh, along with Dehradun, a gateway to spiritual and adventure tourism in Uttarakhand. This move supports both business and leisure travel growth, enhancing the airline’s competitive position in India’s aviation sector.

In addition to flights, the airline offers curated travel packages through its ‘Xpress Holidays’ platform and continues its “Tales of India” aircraft livery series that celebrates regional Indian art forms, strengthening its cultural connection with passengers.

These new Bengaluru services are expected to enrich connectivity and meet the growing demand for diverse domestic travel options across India.
