Air India, India’s leading global airline, has announced the launch of daily flights between Delhi and Gaya, beginning 01 September 2025. Operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, the new service will offer a full-service flying experience.
With this addition, Gaya becomes the 46th domestic destination in Air India’s growing network. The move is expected to significantly enhance religious tourism, providing seamless access to Bodh Gaya, one of the most sacred sites in Buddhism and a prominent pilgrimage destination for global travellers.
The new route has been strategically timed to offer convenient one-stop connectivity via Delhi to and from key cities in Southeast and East Asia, including Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo, Kathmandu, Hong Kong, Seoul-Incheon, and Tokyo-Haneda.
