August 22, 2024

AirAsia is expanding its connectivity with a new route from Kuala Lumpur to Port Blair, Andaman Islands, India, starting November 16, 2024. This marks AirAsia as the sole airline offering international flights to Port Blair from ASEAN countries. The airline will operate thrice weekly on this route, making it the shortest Indian service in its network. The addition of Port Blair increases AirAsia’s connectivity to 17 Indian cities, including Chennai, Jaipur, and New Delhi. Port Blair, known for its pristine waters and rich marine life, is a sought-after beach destination. AirAsia also aims to introduce a ‘cinematic in-flight’ experience to promote destinations across its network.
