February 25, 2026

Luxury hotel tariffs in New Delhi climbed sharply during the AI Impact Summit, with premium suites crossing ₹30 lakh a night as global technology leaders, including Sundar Pichai and Sam Altman, arrived in the capital.

Top properties such as Taj Palace, New Delhi, The Leela Palace New Delhi and The Oberoi, New Delhi saw significant price spikes and near-full occupancy between February 16 and 20. At Taj Palace, a suite that typically sold for about ₹2 lakh rose to nearly ₹32 lakh with taxes, reflecting exceptional event-driven demand.

Several luxury categories sold out well in advance as international delegates, corporate groups and policymakers arrived for the summit. Extended business stays and block bookings further tightened availability.

The event, which hosted tens of thousands of participants, reinforced Delhi’s position as a major destination for global technology gatherings while delivering a strong boost to the city’s hospitality and MICE sector.
