Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has expanded its footprint in Bhutan with the opening of Taj Paro Resort & Spa, developed in partnership with CG Hospitality Global. The launch builds on a collaboration spanning over two decades and reflects IHCL’s continued focus on strengthening its presence across the Indian subcontinent.

Located in the serene Paro valley, close to the iconic Tiger’s Nest monastery, the 45-key resort offers sweeping views of the surrounding Himalayas. Designed to deliver an immersive destination experience, the property features an indoor heated swimming pool, the J Wellness Circle spa, a modern fitness centre, and curated dining spaces showcasing regional and international flavours.

The opening marks a significant milestone in IHCL’s Bhutan portfolio, which now includes properties in Thimphu and Paro, with Phobjikha set to follow. The IHCL–CG Hospitality alliance also extends across key markets, including the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Dubai, and select wildlife destinations in India and Nepal.
