India’s First Cheetah Safari Opens at Kuno National Park on October 1

October 9, 2025

Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh will welcome visitors to India’s first Cheetah Safari starting October 1, 2025. Guests can spot up to 16 free-roaming cheetahs, including cubs, through the Ahira and Peepalwadi gates, with bookings available online or at the park.

Safaris will run from October to May, following strict guidelines: no noise, no stepping out of vehicles, and a 20 km/h speed limit to ensure safety and minimal disturbance.

This initiative is part of Project Cheetah, focused on conservation and habitat restoration, offering wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and eco-travelers a rare opportunity to witness these majestic cats in their natural environment.
