IndiGo is set to spread its wings further west with the launch of daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and London Heathrow Airport, beginning October 26, 2025. The move marks the airline’s debut at Heathrow, one of the world’s busiest international hubs, and signals a major milestone in its ongoing global expansion. London will be IndiGo’s second UK destination, following the successful launch of its Manchester service earlier this year.
The route will be operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft leased from Norse Atlantic Airways, featuring a dual-class cabin with Economy and IndiGoStretch, the airline’s premium seating option. Passengers can look forward to complimentary hot meals and beverages, while alcohol will be available for purchase in Economy and complimentary for IndiGoStretch guests. Each seat will also feature a personal entertainment screen offering nearly 300 hours of curated content.
This new connection is expected to strengthen business, educational, and tourism links between India and the United Kingdom. With Heathrow serving as a key gateway to Europe and beyond, IndiGo’s entry will enhance travel accessibility for both Indian and international travellers, reinforcing its mission to connect India seamlessly with the world.
