IndiGo will introduce flights between Delhi and London Heathrow from February 26, marking another step in its long-haul expansion. The service will operate five times a week using a leased Boeing 787 Dreamliner from Norse Atlantic Airways, featuring a dual-class configuration with IndiGoStretch and Economy cabins.
With the addition of this route, the airline will operate 12 weekly flights to London, complementing its existing daily Mumbai–Heathrow service. The move strengthens IndiGo’s growing presence in the UK and reinforces its position among India’s fastest-expanding international carriers.
The London launch follows a steady rollout of new overseas routes from Delhi, including Bali, Krabi, Hanoi, Guangzhou and Manchester, alongside plans to begin services to Athens in January 2026. Over the past year, the airline has added 10 international destinations and 30 new routes as part of a broader network strategy.
The Delhi–Heathrow connection underscores IndiGo’s focus on linking Indian metros with global hubs.
