May 23, 2025

Jungle Camps India (JCI) is witnessing a remarkable surge in astro-tourism and night safari bookings across its premium forest retreats in Pench, Kanha, and Tadoba. As more travelers seek unique, immersive experiences, the trend of blending wildlife with stargazing is gaining significant traction.

Pench Jungle Camp, located on 50 acres near Pench National Park, has emerged as a hub for astro-tourists. In the 2024–25 season alone, it recorded around 5,500 room nights, with nearly 40% of guests participating in stargazing activities. Its wide open spaces and low light pollution offer ideal conditions for celestial observation.

Kanha Jungle Camp enhances the wilderness experience with guided wildlife safaris, birdwatching, and tribal cultural interactions, while also embracing the night sky as a major attraction. Similarly, Tadoba Jungle Camp, nestled near Lake Irai, offers not just thrilling tiger safaris and nature trails but also crystal-clear views of the stars.

This surge reflects a growing interest in experiential and sustainable tourism. With India’s natural landscapes offering ideal conditions for night sky viewing, astro-tourism is rapidly becoming a sought-after activity. Jungle Camps India is at the forefront, offering a perfect mix of adventure, serenity, and starlit magic.
