Dwarika’s Resort Unveils New Identity as Dwarika’s Sanctuary

November 24, 2025

Dwarika’s Collection has reintroduced its Dhulikhel retreat as Dwarika’s Sanctuary, marking a renewed vision of Himalayan wellbeing rooted in Buddhist and Vedic healing philosophies. Spread across 22 acres with sweeping mountain views, the Sanctuary has already earned the 2025 Michelin Key for its authenticity and sustainable luxury.

From January 2026, the retreat will shift to an all-inclusive, minimum three-night format, offering guests a curated immersion in holistic wellness. Each stay begins with an Ayurvedic consultation, followed by rituals such as Himalayan salt house breathwork, meditation in the Rock Crystal Chamber, yoga, nine-planet balancing, sound healing, and a traditional blessing ceremony.

The Pancha Kosha Spa offers treatments inspired by the five layers of being, while menus crafted from the property’s organic farms support mindful nourishment with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Guests can also explore monastery trails, guided forest meditations, and hikes to Dwarika’s Organic Farm for farm-to-table experiences. The retreat’s 40 Nepali-inspired suites are built into terraced hillsides, reflecting deep respect for local ecology and heritage.

Just 45 minutes from Kathmandu Airport and visa-free for Indian travellers, Dwarika’s Sanctuary sets a new benchmark for spiritual and wellness-focused luxury in the Himalayas.
