Noida is set to unveil a one-of-a-kind eco-attraction this July with the launch of its Jungle Trail—an imaginative wildlife park built entirely from scrap materials. Part of the city’s waste-to-wonder initiative, the 20-acre park will open to the public following a trial run starting June 25.
Developed at a cost of ₹22 crore under a public-private partnership between Noida Authority and Z-Tech, the park features over 700 life-sized animal sculptures crafted from recycled materials like nuts, bolts, chains, rods, and fuel tanks. The sculptures represent wildlife from six continents, creating a global jungle experience for visitors from Noida, Delhi, Greater Noida, and Faridabad.
Divided into four themed zones, the Jungle Trail includes a special night safari experience with illuminated sculptures and ambient lighting, offering a lifelike adventure after dark. Nearly 500 tonnes of iron waste have been transformed into stunning art installations, all designed to promote sustainability and support the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Isha Chaudhary, Vice-President of Z-Tech, highlighted the project’s focus on environmental awareness and creativity. Final touches, including the main gate, cafeteria, and paintwork, are underway, and officials are planning to invite Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the grand inauguration.
