Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, has released its official safari schedule for the season, designed to align with daylight hours and changing weather conditions. The park, renowned for its tiger sightings and rich biodiversity, adjusts its timings through the year to ensure both visitor experience and wildlife safety.
From October 1 to October 31, morning safaris will run between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with evening trips from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As winter sets in, from November 1 to January 31, the morning slot shifts slightly later, 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., while evenings begin earlier, 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
With spring, the schedule reverts: from February 1 to March 31, safaris operate 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. By summer, longer days extend opportunities—between April 1 and May 15, visitors can explore 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The final window, May 15 to June 30, pushes evenings later, closing at 7:00 p.m.
These seasonal adjustments not only enhance visitor comfort but also preserve the park’s delicate balance between tourism and conservation.
