Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has unveiled Gateway Goa, it’s brand new Palolem property, marking its 250th hotel in operation. The 160-room hotel is strategically located between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats in South Goa, offering panoramic views of Rajbagh, Patnem, and Colomb beaches.
Leah Tata, Vice President and Brand Leader of Gateway Hotels & Resorts, highlighted that this launch strengthens IHCL’s presence in India’s top leisure destinations. The hotel aims to immerse guests in authentic local culture and heritage while providing modern leisure amenities.
Dining options include Trophé, serving tropical cocktails, and 74 NE, Canacona’s only rooftop bistro, featuring herb-infused grills and global flavors with 180° views. The hotel also offers wellness treatments at its spa, a fully equipped gym, and a swimming pool surrounded by swaying palms. It features versatile venues for social and corporate events.
Ronald Menezes, General Manager, emphasized the hotel’s connection with South Goa’s spirit and its readiness to host celebrations and business gatherings.
Gateway Goa, Palolem offers guests opportunities to explore local traditions, such as feni making, kayaking, and turtle spotting. With this addition, IHCL now operates 19 properties in Goa, with five more under development, reinforcing its strong foothold in the region’s booming hospitality sector.
