The Taj Mahal Hotel Lucknow is embarking on a major expansion with 96 new luxury rooms spanning nearly 100,000 square feet, designed as a seamless extension of the existing five-star property. Located in Vipin Khand, the new wing overlooks the Ambedkar Memorial Park and the Gomti Nagar Riverfront, offering guests scenic views in a culturally rich setting.
The project, led by CP Kukreja Architects, embraces classical proportions and understated ornamentation to seamlessly blend the hotel’s historic architecture with modern design elements. Architectural highlights include a double-height arched colonnade at the lobby, symmetrically arranged façade elements such as arched openings and corniced parapets, and thoughtfully laid out corridors ensuring clarity of movement.
