Jazeera Airways Adds Four New Indian Destinations via Dammam

April 7, 2026

Jazeera Airways has expanded its Indian network with the launch of four new destinations: Calicut, Tiruchirappalli, Mangalore and Kannur, all operated via Dammam Airport. The new routes come into effect between April 7 and 14, with twice-weekly frequencies on each sector.

The additions bring the airline’s total Indian destination count to 12, complementing existing services to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram. Since resuming India operations on March 20, the airline has transported over 11,000 passengers, reflecting strong demand driven largely by Kuwait’s sizeable Indian expatriate community.

The expansion provides more direct access to southern Indian cities that have historically been underserved by Gulf carriers, reducing the need for onward connections through larger hubs. Beyond passenger travel, the new routes are also expected to support cargo and supply chain movement between Kuwait and India.
