Rhododendron Festival in Bhutan (13- 14 April 2026)

April 14, 2026

Set in the pristine highlands of Bhutan, the Rhododendron Festival celebrates the kingdom’s extraordinary floral wealth. Hosted at Lamperi Botanical Park, it coincides with the annual bloom of over 40 rhododendron species, carpeting the mountains in vivid spring colour.

The most recent edition was held on 13th–14th April, marking a brief yet immersive showcase of nature and culture. While this year’s festival has just concluded, it remains one to bookmark for the future, traditionally returning each April, when the blossoms are at their peak.

Alongside forest trails, the festival features traditional performances, local crafts, and regional cuisine, all underscoring Bhutan’s enduring commitment to conservation and its harmonious relationship with nature.
