Sayaji Hotels Enters Wildlife Hospitality With Sasan Gir Retreat

May 13, 2026

Sayaji Hotels has launched The Forest Chapter, a boutique nature retreat near Gir National Park in Sasan Gir, marking the debut of a new sub-brand focused on experiential, destination-led stays across India’s wildlife and natural landscapes.

The property offers 25 cottages and villas across Premium, Superior, and Suite Villa categories, designed with rustic materials and spacious layouts that sit comfortably within the surrounding forest setting. Dining options include Ember & Leaf, a multi-cuisine restaurant, and a rooftop café built around open-air experiences. Landscaped outdoor spaces also cater to smaller gatherings and curated events.

Guest programming centres on nature-based activities, cultural interactions, and wildlife exploration, with Sasan Gir’s year-round safari access giving the property a meaningful advantage over wildlife destinations that close during the monsoon season.

The retreat is accessible via Rajkot International Airport and Junagadh Railway Station, balancing convenience with seclusion. The launch reflects Sayaji’s broader ambition to diversify beyond its established hotel portfolio and build a presence in India’s growing experiential travel segment.
