flydubai has launched daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Pokhara, creating the first direct air connection between the UAE city and western Nepal. The service began on September 23, 2026, making Pokhara the airline’s second destination in Nepal after Kathmandu.
The new route strengthens access to Pokhara, a major gateway to Nepal’s leisure and adventure tourism, including the Annapurna region. With the addition, flydubai now operates 35 weekly flights to Nepal, including four daily services to Kathmandu.
The Dubai-Pokhara service also operates under flydubai’s codeshare partnership with Emirates, allowing passengers to connect through Dubai to more than 140 destinations across Asia, Europe and the Americas. Travellers can benefit from single-ticket bookings and through-checked baggage.
The airline has carried more than 4.5 million passengers between Dubai and Kathmandu since 2009. The new route also increases cargo connectivity between Nepal and Dubai.
Return fares start at AED 1,950 in Economy Class from Dubai and NPR 80,500 from Pokhara.
