Starting December 1, the Maldives has increased exit fees for international travelers. The fee for departing tourists will rise by approximately 12%, applying to all outbound flights. The new rates aim to enhance revenue for the nation’s tourism infrastructure. Travellers planning to depart from the Maldives should be prepared for this new cost when booking tickets.
