Air India Launches Direct Delhi–Manila Flights

October 27, 2025

Air India has inaugurated its first non-stop flight between Delhi and Manila, becoming the first Indian carrier to connect India directly with the Philippines. The launch comes soon after the Philippines introduced visa-free entry for Indian travellers for up to 14 days, an initiative expected to boost tourism, business travel, and cultural exchange between the two nations.

Operating five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the route is served by the Airbus A321LR, featuring Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. The new service caters to rising demand from leisure and corporate travellers while providing Filipino passengers easy one-stop access to Europe and North America via Delhi.

With this addition, Air India now connects eight destinations across seven Southeast Asian countries, reinforcing its growing regional footprint.

For Indian travellers, the Philippines offers an exciting mix of tropical beauty and heritage, from the historic walled city of Intramuros in Manila and the island-hopping adventures of Palawan, to Boracay’s white-sand beaches and the ancient Banaue Rice Terraces. The new direct route makes these iconic experiences more accessible than ever, marking a new chapter in Indo-Philippine connectivity and tourism
