Tathastu Resorts Opens Fifth Property at Satpura Tiger Reserve

April 7, 2026

Tathastu Resorts has launched its latest wildlife retreat at Satpura Tiger Reserve, expanding its presence across Central India’s forest circuit. Tathastu Satpura joins the group’s existing portfolio spanning Pench, Kanha, Tadoba and Bandhavgarh.

The property offers 34 villa rooms and 5 pool suites, each oriented toward the forest and designed around privacy and low-density living. Earthy interiors, private verandas and forest-facing layouts keep the natural surroundings at the centre of the guest experience.

Beyond wildlife safaris, the programming includes jungle walks, riverside sundowners, pottery sessions and reflexology trails. The on-site restaurant, Gilhari, draws inspiration from the Indian Giant Squirrel native to the reserve. A wellness offering is delivered in part by visually impaired therapists, a thoughtful integration of social purpose into the hospitality model.

Satpura Tiger Reserve, home to tigers, leopards, sloth bears and rich birdlife, is increasingly recognised for its biodiversity and quieter safari environment. The launch reinforces the region’s growing standing within India’s wildlife tourism landscape.
