Bookmark Resorts is adding Jawai to its portfolio of experience-led properties with the October 1 opening of Cheetagarh, a 20-key retreat set among the granite hills and lakes of Rajasthan’s most celebrated leopard landscape.
The retreat will offer chalets and rooms, including private-pool accommodations, alongside a swimming pool, spa, and wellness facilities. Dining centres on Rotela Café for all-day meals and a waterside grill overlooking Rotela Lake. Guest experiences are built around Jawai’s distinctive character: jeep safaris, birding, nature walks, and cultural excursions into communities that have long shared their land with leopards.
The opening marks Onora Hospitality’s second property in Jawai, following jüSTa Luxe Highpoint Jawai, which launched in 2025. For Bookmark Resorts, Cheetagarh joins an existing portfolio spanning Ranthambore, Manali, and Kanha.
The brand’s philosophy leans toward restorative travel rather than conventional luxury, with the landscape, wildlife, and slower rhythms of the destination doing as much of the work as the hospitality itself.
