Adani Airport Holdings has signed an agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts to develop five hotels across key airport-linked destinations, adding close to 1,500 keys to India’s hospitality pipeline. Properties will come up in Jaipur, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The partnership also marks the Indian debut of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, IHG’s luxury lifestyle boutique brand, with its first property planned for Jaipur. The broader portfolio will include Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels, integrated into Adani’s airport city developments across its mixed-use urban corridors.
Adani Airport Holdings currently operates eight airports, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Lucknow, and is developing these sites as integrated urban ecosystems combining aviation, hospitality, retail, and commercial infrastructure across roughly 663 acres.
IHG currently operates 52 hotels across six brands in India, with a pipeline of 98 additional properties expected over the next three to five years. The two companies have indicated they are in advanced discussions to expand the partnership further, reflecting broader confidence in India’s airport-led hospitality growth as passenger traffic and domestic tourism continue to rise.
