IHG Signs InterContinental Resort In Jaipur, Opening 2030

May 20, 2026

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Makson India Hospitality to develop InterContinental Resort Jaipur Achrol, adding a significant luxury property to its India pipeline. Scheduled to open in early 2030, the resort will span 16 acres on the Delhi-Jaipur Road in Achrol, offering 189 guest rooms and 36 villas across 225 keys.

The property will be IHG’s fourth hotel in Jaipur and its second InterContinental-branded address in the market, reflecting the city’s continued pull as a leisure and wedding destination. Four dining venues, a ballroom, spa, fitness centre, and recreational facilities will position the resort firmly within the destination wedding and premium leisure segments.

The signing comes as Rajasthan sees sustained growth in high-end tourism, supported by infrastructure development and rising appetite for culturally rooted travel experiences. For Makson India Hospitality, the partnership aligns with a longer-term vision of developing assets that draw on Rajasthan’s heritage appeal.

IHG currently operates 52 hotels across six brands in India, with 98 further properties in its pipeline as it pursues expansion across both business and leisure destinations nationwide.
