Mohabbat E Taj to Remain Closed During Diwali Period

September 8, 2025

The spellbinding Mohabbat E Taj live show, presented by the Kalakriti Cultural and Convention Centre, will take a short pause this Diwali. The performance will remain closed from 19th to 22nd October 2025, returning on 23rd October to its regular schedule.

Staged near the timeless Taj Mahal, the production is a luminous ode to the love of Emperor Shah Jahan and his queen, Mumtaz Mahal. For ninety minutes, the story unfolds through graceful dance, stirring music, and a play of light and shadow that seems to bring the marble monument’s romance to life.

With over 80 performers weaving together history, art, and passion, the show has become one of Agra’s most cherished cultural experiences—an evening where legend and imagination entwine.

After the festival of lights, visitors will once again be able to lose themselves in this dazzling retelling of love and legacy.
