The Oberoi Group Unveils Ambitious Expansion with Four New Luxury Hotels in India

The Oberoi Group, through its flagship company EIH Limited, has announced a significant growth milestone with four new luxury hotel projects across India, unveiled during its 75th Annual General Meeting in New Delhi. These additions underscore the group’s strategic focus on expanding its presence in prime leisure and urban destinations under the esteemed Oberoi and Trident brands.

The new properties include:

  • The Oberoi, Gir, a luxurious 20-key wildlife retreat set within a sprawling mango orchard near Gir National Park, home to the Asiatic lion.
  • In Hyderabad, The Oberoi will open a 220-key hotel in the bustling Knowledge City commercial district.
  • The Trident brand will debut with two hotels: a 150-key property nestled in the scenic Nandi Hills north of Bengaluru, and a 170-key hotel near the historic Fort Aguada in Goa.

These projects are part of EIH Limited’s extensive development pipeline comprising 25 properties slated for completion by 2030, adding over 2,000 keys to its portfolio. With a combination of ownership, joint ventures, and management contracts, The Oberoi Group is strengthening its footprint not only across India but also internationally in destinations such as London, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia.

Executive Chairman Arjun Oberoi emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering authentic luxury experiences rooted in core values of excellence and care, while CEO Vikram Oberoi highlighted the deep market insight guiding the group’s visionary expansion.
