Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has opened Taj Palace, Lucknow, marking the launch of its second Taj property in the Uttar Pradesh capital. Located in Gomti Nagar, the 181-key hotel was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Set amid landscaped surroundings, the new property combines contemporary accommodation with a range of dining, wellness and business facilities. Its four restaurants and bars include Bistrot, House of Ming, Machan and Shadow & Oak, offering everything from local and international cuisine to Chinese dishes and beverages.
Guests can also access J Wellness Circle, a fitness centre and rooftop swimming pool. The property marks the debut of The Chambers, Taj’s exclusive business club, in Uttar Pradesh. It also features extensive banquet and event spaces for conferences, weddings and social gatherings.
The opening takes IHCL’s Uttar Pradesh portfolio to 60 hotels across more than 20 cities. The expansion strengthens the company’s presence in both established tourism destinations and the state’s growing commercial centres, while adding another premium hospitality option to Lucknow’s evolving Gomti Nagar district.
