Jaipur’s Nahargarh Biological Park opens up for tiger safaris

Rajasthan has launched a new Tiger Safari at Nahargarh Biological Park, enhancing its wildlife conservation efforts. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the safari spans 30 hectares and features a 7 km track for tiger sightings. The park also saw the naming of two tiger cubs, Skandi and Bheem. This initiative is expected to boost tourism and raise awareness for tiger protection. The park is part of a larger conservation effort that includes lion and tiger safaris within the Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary. With four biological parks, three national parks, 26 wildlife sanctuaries, and 36 conservation reserves, the state now boasts of 130 tigers.
