The MICHELIN Guide has recognised 47 Indian hotels in its 2026 Key Selection, highlighting the country’s growing presence on the global luxury hospitality map. The selection includes 30 One MICHELIN Key, 15 Two MICHELIN Key and two Three MICHELIN Key properties.

Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad and Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur received India’s highest distinction of Three MICHELIN Keys. The Two-Key category includes properties such as The Oberoi Amarvilas, Raffles Jaipur, The Leela Palace Jaipur, The Imperial New Delhi, Aman-i-Khas and The Oberoi Udaivilas.

The One-Key selection spans a wide range of stays, from heritage properties and urban hotels to wildlife retreats and boutique resorts. Eleven new Indian hotels entered the One-Key category this year, while The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort in Bandhavgarh earned Two MICHELIN Keys.

Globally, the 2026 selection features 2,832 MICHELIN Key hotels across 79 destinations. The latest recognition reflects changing definitions of luxury, with personalised service, distinctive design, wellness, immersive experiences and a stronger connection with local surroundings increasingly shaping high-end travel.
