Noida Airport Sets Rs 490 Domestic Departure Fee Before June Launch

May 15, 2026

India’s airport tariff regulator AERA has fixed the user development fee at Noida International Airport at Rs 490 for departing domestic passengers and Rs 980 for departing international passengers, ahead of the airport’s commercial launch on June 15.

Arriving domestic passengers will pay Rs 210, with international arrivals charged Rs 420. The rates are lower than what airport operator YIAPL had proposed, and AERA noted they are in line with the national average at major airports.

To encourage airlines to launch new routes in the early years, AERA has introduced a Variable Tariff Plan covering landing and parking charges. Landing fees start at Rs 725 per metric tonne for domestic flights and Rs 1,088 for international, rising gradually through to 2031. Fees across all categories are set to increase incrementally over the first control period running from 2026 to 2031.

The airport, operated by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited under a 40-year concession, is being developed in four phases. Phase I supports 12 million passengers annually, scaling to 70 million at full build-out. Originally planned for 2024, the project faced repeated delays before receiving its aerodrome licence earlier this year.
