Royal Orchid Launches Iconiqa Collection With Vadodara Palace Resort

August 7, 2026

Royal Orchid Hotels has formally launched its Iconiqa Collection, a curated portfolio of upscale properties defined by individual character and destination-led experiences, with the signing of Laxminarayan Palace Resort in Vadodara as its inaugural entry.

Located near the Laxmi Vilas Palace, the 106-room property spans Palace and Heritage wings, combining palace-inspired architecture with contemporary hospitality facilities. Six indoor event venues, landscaped lawns, courtyards, and a ballroom position it firmly within the weddings and large-format events market, while a spa, pool, yoga studio, and fitness centre cater to leisure guests.

Three dining concepts round out the offering: Mayur Pankh for royal kitchen-inspired Indian cuisine, Cafe Nirvaan as an alfresco all-day café, and Little Italy, a vegetarian Italian speciality restaurant.

Unlike conventional hotel collections, Iconiqa properties will each retain their own distinct identity rather than conform to a shared design standard. The launch aligns with Royal Orchid’s broader asset-light growth strategy as it looks to expand across key destinations in India.
