Vadnagar Unveils World-Class Archaeological Museum

In a significant cultural milestone, the Union Ministry of Culture and Gujarat government inaugurated the Vadnagar Archaeological Experiential Museum on January 16, 2025. Located in the historic town of Vadnagar, which has a 2,500-year-old history, the museum aims to preserve and showcase the region’s rich heritage. The complex spans 12,500 sq. meters and features nine thematic galleries, a 50-meter bridge, and a permanent structure over an excavation site revealing remains up to 18 meters deep. The Rs. 298 Crore project includes interactive exhibits and aims to boost tourism and education.
