Delhi International Airport has taken a pioneering step with the launch of DEL Vibes, a vibrant cultural platform that brings the spirit of India alive across all terminals. Rolled out by Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) and GMR Aero, DEL Vibes began enchanting travelers on July 21, 2025, making Indira Gandhi International Airport the first in the country to host such a dynamic, airport-wide initiative.
From 10 AM to 6 PM each day, passengers are treated to a rotating schedule of live performances and interactive sessions. from classical dance forms like Kathak and Bharatanatyam to enchanting instrumental recitals featuring the Sitar, Santoor, and Sarangi. Crafted workshops and artist-led activities invite travelers of all ages to immerse themselves in traditional arts, transforming routine wait times into memorable cultural sojourns.
DIAL’s CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar notes that DEL Vibes embodies their vision to offer every visitor a taste of India’s cultural richness before they set foot beyond the airport. The initiative also lends a calming, engaging atmosphere, designed to ease travel nerves and make every journey a bit more delightful.
