A new address for elevated dining has arrived in Kolkata with the debut of La Soirée, a restaurant designed to blend luxury with warmth and a strong sense of craft. Conceived as a destination rather than just a dining room, La Soirée pairs world-inspired cocktails with international lounge cuisine in a setting shaped by French-influenced design.
The menu introduces a wide spectrum of Asian, Western, and global fusion dishes, built around fresh, locally sourced ingredients. A notable highlight is the city’s only standalone Teppanyaki station, adding a performative edge to the dining experience. The culinary programme is led by chef Samantha Chakraborty, while the beverage offering is curated by Aman Dua.
Accommodating around 100 guests, including three private dining areas, the space is defined by rich maroons, layered browns, chandeliers, and period-style accents. The overall approach reflects a philosophy that thoughtful food and design can foster deeper human connection.
