Roseate Hotels & Resorts to Open Lakeside Retreat in Bhimtal

March 9, 2026

Roseate Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality arm of Delhi’s Bird Group, has signed a management agreement for a new property in Bhimtal, Uttarakhand, its first hotel in India under such an arrangement. The Roseate Bhimtal is set to open in December 2026, offering 30 rooms overlooking the serene Bhimtal Lake.

Positioned as a wellness-led retreat, the property will focus on nature immersion, wellbeing, and personalised hospitality. Nestled in the Kumaon region, it sits roughly five and a half hours from Delhi and 45 minutes from Nainital, surrounded by forested hills and tranquil lakefront scenery.

Guest experiences will be curated around outdoor settings, lake views, and wellness activities, catering to the growing appetite for mindful, nature-based escapes. The estate will undergo refurbishment ahead of its winter 2026 launch.

The addition strengthens Roseate’s footprint in Uttarakhand, where it already operates The Roseate Ganges in Rishikesh. The brand currently runs three properties across India, including New Delhi and Rishikesh, alongside two in the United Kingdom, in Reading and Bath.
