Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has signed a new property in Khajuraho, developed in partnership with A.S Hotels. The 92-key Wyndham Garden Khajuraho Airport Road is scheduled to open in Q3 2027, adding an internationally branded hospitality option to one of India’s most storied heritage destinations.
Located on Airport Road, the hotel will offer convenient access to both the town’s transport hub and its key attractions, most notably the UNESCO-listed Khajuraho Group of Monuments. Renowned for their intricately carved temple architecture dating back to the medieval Chandela dynasty, the monuments draw a steady stream of domestic and international visitors year-round. The property will feature 92 guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, meeting and event spaces, a fitness centre and a swimming pool.
The signing is part of Wyndham’s broader strategy to expand across India’s cultural and heritage tourism destinations, as traveller interest in historically significant sites continues to grow alongside improving regional air connectivity.
