Atmosphere Core has announced its entry into Northeast India with the signing of DHAR Golf Vista by Atmosphere Shillong, a boutique hotel development in Meghalaya’s capital. The property, developed in partnership with Rocky Dhar, is scheduled to open in 2027.
Positioned near Shillong’s golf course and within accessible distance of the airport, the 75-key hotel will operate under the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts brand. Room categories will include deluxe rooms and suites, with dining options spanning an all-day restaurant, a sports-themed outlet, and a rooftop venue.
Wellness facilities will feature the brand’s ELE|NA Ayur spa, alongside a swimming pool, indoor games, a children’s play area, and a golf simulation facility. The property is designed to serve both leisure travellers and the MICE segment.
The signing reflects Atmosphere Core’s broader strategy of expanding into emerging hill station destinations across India, with the Northeast identified as a key focus area. Shillong’s growing tourism profile, cultural heritage, and improving connectivity make it a natural fit for the brand’s next phase of growth.
