Kairali Ayurvedic Group has entered luxury hospitality with Villa Raag, a six-room beachfront retreat at Agonda Beach in South Goa’s Canacona region. The property marks the wellness brand’s first foray into boutique hospitality, positioned squarely at international travellers seeking privacy, personalised care, and holistic wellbeing.
Spread across two acres, the resort features private sea-facing terraces, a temperature-controlled saltwater pool, Zen gardens, rooftop meditation facilities, yoga spaces, and gourmet dining. Rates start at Rs 45,000 plus taxes per night on an all-inclusive basis, with butler and concierge services included.
Designed by Durga Sarath Architects, the property integrates architecture and landscaped wellness spaces around a philosophy of mindful, unhurried living. Wellness programming will be tailored to individual goals rather than fixed group schedules, covering yoga, meditation, restorative therapies, and specialised retreats focused on areas such as joint revival and metabolic reset.
Agonda Beach has steadily drawn wellness travellers and yoga enthusiasts in recent years, its quieter character and low-density tourism making it a natural fit for a retreat of this kind. Villa Raag is also being positioned as part of a broader effort to shift Goa’s identity beyond its traditional nightlife associations, toward slow travel and mindful hospitality.
