Lower Parel has a new all-day dining address. TAB, short for The American Buzz, has opened at Phoenix Palladium’s gourmet village, bringing New York-style pizzas, smoked meats, and craft cocktails to a 2,100 square foot space designed around the energy of American street culture.
The kitchen is guided by chef Irfan Pabaney, known for his work at Monkey Bar and Olive Bar & Kitchen, with execution by head chef Ameya Prachand. The menu leans on an in-house smoker and Robata grill, with pizza doughs fermented for 48 hours and meats slow-cooked to order. The spread balances hearty meat dishes with a strong vegetarian offering across burgers, sandos, grilled plates, and pizzas.
The bar programme has been curated by Shatbhi Basu, widely regarded as India’s first female bartender. Signature cocktails draw on ingredients from across the United States, with non-alcoholic options crafted to the same standard as their spirited counterparts.
The interiors, designed by The Soul Company, reference New York’s DUMBO neighbourhood through a nostalgic bridge installation and graffiti walls, grounding the space in a distinctly urban American aesthetic.
TAB is the work of founders Romaan and Neha Pathan alongside Zeeshan Thakur, who identified a gap in the area for quality burgers, authentic pizzas, and real smoked meats in a setting that works as comfortably for lunch as it does for an evening out.
