Star Air Relaunches Hyderabad To Bhubaneswar Flights Via Jharsuguda

June 2, 2026

Star Air has resumed direct services connecting Hyderabad, Jharsuguda, and Bhubaneswar, operating six days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The route offers both direct and one-stop connectivity options between Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar.

The relaunch strengthens air links between two economically significant regions. Hyderabad remains one of India’s leading technology and commercial hubs, while Jharsuguda has grown into a key industrial centre in Odisha. Bhubaneswar, meanwhile, continues to see rising demand driven by infrastructure development, commerce, and tourism.

Star Air operates the route using Embraer E175 aircraft with business and economy class seating. The airline is a participant in the government’s UDAN regional connectivity scheme and recently marked seven years of operations, having carried close to three million passengers across its network.

The carrier currently runs 455 weekly flights and plans to scale up to 550 during the summer schedule, as it continues expanding beyond UDAN routes with a focus on improving connectivity for underserved tier-2 and tier-3 cities across India.
