June 16, 2026

IHCL has signed a SeleQtions hotel within Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, in partnership with Thriving Hotels Private Limited, marking the brand’s entry into one of the state’s most prominent wildlife destinations.

The 35-room greenfield property will span 17 acres on the outskirts of the reserve, positioned near three of its most accessible and popular entry gates. Maharashtra’s oldest and largest tiger reserve, Tadoba, is home to over 40 tigers, among the highest concentrations in India, and draws significant national and international visitor numbers during its safari season from October to June.

The signing extends its existing safari portfolio while opening a new leisure destination. The hotel’s scale and proximity to Nagpur airport are also expected to position it for meetings and conferences alongside its core wildlife tourism appeal.

The partnership brings IHCL’s SeleQtions brand and its characteristic immersive experiences to one of India’s most visited tiger reserves, adding a distinctive design-led property to the region’s growing safari hospitality circuit.
