IndiGo to Launch Direct Operations from Noida International Airport, Strengthening NCR’s Aviation Landscape

May 11, 2026

The airline’s new services from Jewar signal a major milestone for India’s expanding airport infrastructure and the growing demand for multi-hub connectivity across North India.

IndiGo has announced the launch of direct daily flights from Noida International Airport (DXN) at Jewar, with operations scheduled to commence from 15 June 2026. In the initial phase, the airline will connect the newly developed airport with Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Amritsar, and Jammu, further enhancing domestic accessibility across key business, leisure, and pilgrimage markets.

Bookings for the new routes are now open, with Jewar becoming IndiGo’s 97th domestic and 144th overall destination within its rapidly expanding network.

The move marks an important development in India’s aviation growth story, as Noida International Airport prepares to emerge as a significant alternative gateway for the National Capital Region. Strategically positioned to ease congestion at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, the new aviation hub is expected to strengthen regional connectivity, stimulate tourism movement, and support economic development across Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states.

Industry observers view IndiGo’s early expansion into Jewar as a strong indicator of confidence in the airport’s long-term potential as a major aviation and logistics centre. Improved access to destinations such as Amritsar and Jammu is also expected to benefit religious tourism, while Hyderabad and Bengaluru routes will strengthen business and technology travel corridors across India.
