ITC Hotels Signs Storii Mukundgarh Fort In Rajasthan’s Shekhawati Region

July 3, 2026

Shekhawati has long been called Rajasthan’s open-air art gallery, a landscape of painted havelis, ornate frescoes, and centuries-old craftsmanship that few parts of the country can rival. ITC Hotels has chosen this setting for its latest Storii by ITC Hotels signing, bringing a mid-18th century fort in Mukundgarh into a brand built around place, heritage, and local storytelling.

The fort’s original character remains largely intact, with decorative interiors, arched walkways, courtyard spaces, and carved columns offering guests a genuine encounter with the region’s artistic traditions rather than a curated approximation of them.

Mukundgarh sits along a well-travelled heritage circuit linking Jaipur, Mandawa, and Nawalgarh, giving the property natural appeal for culturally minded travellers building their way through Rajasthan. For ITC Hotels, the signing extends a Storii portfolio designed around exactly this kind of destination, where the history of a place becomes inseparable from the experience of staying in it.
