Vietnam Airlines has inaugurated direct flights between Bengaluru and Hanoi, marking a significant enhancement in India-Vietnam air connectivity.
Commencing May 2025, the airline operates four weekly flights from Bengaluru to Hanoi using Airbus A321 aircraft, offering passengers a comfortable and efficient travel experience.
This expansion complements Vietnam Airlines’ existing services from Delhi and Mumbai, positioning the airline as a key player in connecting major Indian cities to Vietnam. The new route not only facilitates tourism but also strengthens business ties between the two nations, catering to the growing demand from South India’s tech and business hubs.
Passengers can look forward to seamless connections from Hanoi to other popular destinations across Japan, Korea, China, Australia, and ASEAN countries, enhancing travel options for both leisure and corporate travelers.
Nguyen Trung Hieu, Country Manager India for Vietnam Airlines, expressed enthusiasm about the new route, stating, “India is an extremely important market for Vietnam Airlines, and South India has witnessed a surge in demand for travel to Vietnam.”
This strategic move underscores Vietnam Airlines’ commitment to expanding its footprint in the Indian market and providing world-class service to its passengers.
