Dusit International has entered into a management agreement with Atmosphere to introduce its upper-midscale Dusit Princess brand to the Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, near Rishikesh. Slated to open in 2031, the project marks a meaningful step in Dusit’s India expansion within one of the country’s most established wellness and adventure tourism corridors.
The 300-key property will include hotel rooms and luxury duplex villas, set within the Himalayan foothills and designed to integrate with the surrounding landscape. Core facilities span a lobby lounge, business centre, all-day dining restaurant, outdoor pool, gym, yoga room, and multipurpose event spaces, catering to both leisure and business travellers.
A standout addition is the clubhouse, which will house a spa, infinity pool, a restaurant with around 250 covers, squash court, mini-plex, bowling alley, and indoor games, positioning the property as much as a lifestyle destination as a hotel.
Rishikesh’s draw as a centre for spirituality, wellness, and adventure tourism makes it a natural fit for the development, which has been envisioned as a mixed-use destination combining hospitality with immersive, nature-led experiences.
