Royal Orchid Hotels has opened Z by Regenta City Centre Ahmedabad through its subsidiary Regenta Hotels, marking another addition to its Gujarat footprint. Z by Regenta is the group’s contemporary lifestyle brand aimed at Gen Z and millennial travellers, built around energetic design, digital-first conveniences, and affordable pricing.
The hotel is located in Vastrapur, between Himalaya Mall and Vastrapur Lake, with reasonable proximity to the airport, railway station, and key attractions including Sabarmati Ashram, Kankaria Lake, and the Riverfront. It offers 43 rooms, including 42 deluxe rooms and one suite, fitted with high-speed Wi-Fi, ergonomic workstations, and the brand’s signature Z Hug Pillows.
Dining is anchored by Neighbourhood, an all-day vegetarian restaurant spanning Indian and Oriental cuisine alongside comfort food staples, open from early morning until late evening. A 2,500 square foot conference hall supports meetings and events for up to 200 guests.
The property is developed in partnership with PrimeStay Hospitality, founded by promoters of Wireless Teleinfra alongside an experienced hotelier, marking the group’s first venture into hospitality. For Royal Orchid, the launch forms part of its Vision 2030 expansion strategy, betting on Ahmedabad’s growing millennial traveller base and commercial activity.
