Opulent Oasis Hospitality has entered India’s hospitality market with Wild Calm, a nature-led retreat in Sasan Gir, Gujarat. The venture is led by founder Bhavik Sheth, with a focus on experiential stays that sit between high-end luxury and standardised hotel offerings.
The 53-key property will feature private pool villas and alternative stay formats, situated within one of India’s most renowned wildlife regions. Amenities span a clubhouse, multi-cuisine restaurant, kitchen garden, cultural activity spaces, pickleball courts, box cricket facilities, and a Miyawaki forest. Guest programming features botanical walks, pottery classes, storytelling sessions, nature activities, and curated dining experiences.
The property reflects a wider shift in Indian hospitality toward embedding experiences into the core of a stay rather than treating them as extras. Sasan Gir, with its growing demand for thoughtful accommodation beyond the conventional, provides a fitting backdrop for that approach.
Opulent Oasis has indicated plans to expand selectively across wildlife, eco-tourism, and culturally significant destinations, with interest in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets and emerging spiritual tourism circuits also on the horizon.
